Showroom sales executive

Under the Spaceslide brand, we create stunning fitted wardrobes, sliding wardrobe doors and freestanding furniture, including a range of functional modular based storage solutions which are used in both home living and home office environments.

We are currently recruiting Sales Executives based in our showrooms in Hemel Hempstead and Farnham:

Main Purpose of the Role:

  • To generate leads and close sales whilst advising customers of the brands extensive product range and services.
  • Upselling products and service to maximise sales opportunities.
  • To provide a professional customer service aligned with agreed best practices both in the Showroom and , on site, in branch and in support of the brands online presence.
  • Responsible for all installation works personally, to include design and client management, while providing the support needed for home delivery sales in branch.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • To provide exemplary customer service and advice for all customers.
  • To meet sales targets, considering objectives set out within branch KPIs. This includes average order values, quality of sales leads and individual monthly targets.
  • To work closely with colleagues with clear customer communication to effectively generate installation leads in the form of survey appointments.
  • To manage capacity and take ownership of order fulfilment related to all installation works.
  • Maintain showroom standards ensuring that the showroom is presented to its best advantage at all times.
  • Provide exceptional product knowledge, order process and brand knowledge confidently and in an engaging manner

 

Candidates should be able to demonstrate:

  • Ideally a minimum of 1 years’ experience in surveying within the home improvement sector
  • A minimum of 3 years sales experience gained within the home improvement sector. Some experience in interior design would be beneficial.
  • A complete understanding of consumer needs and expectations, with knowledge of current trends and preferences.
  • Knowledge of local competition including product, services and price.

 

This appointment is subject to a criminal records disclosure check (DBS) and offers of employment may be withdrawn depending on the results of these checks.

This is a permanent, full time position with a salary dependent  on experience plus commission.
